Ravare-Jones became COO at Alpha in February 2011, a promotion in less than six months from joining the firm as senior vice president of strategic initiatives. Her duties include working closely with the CEO and executive management team to lead major cross-business unit projects and programs while directing process management/improvement activities of major strategic initiatives, including the management of Alpfa’s three-year strategic initiatives portfolio. She also oversees strategic alliances, HR, membership, student affairs, Alpfa professional programming, Alpfa’s leading chapter executive directors (New York, Boston, and Chicago) and chapter operations for Alpfa’s 40 professional and nearly 100 student chapters. Her corporate experience includes marketing positions at several Fortune 100 companies, serving as a visiting professor at five universities, and executive director of international graduate relations and pre-MBA programs. Ravare-Jones’ non-profit roles include: director of finance of Christ Emmanuel Ministries, and director, office of the CEO of the National Society of Hispanic MBAs.
