Rebekah has worked as a Chaplain since 2007 and an ACPE Certified Educator since 2012.Sheispassionate about education and care that impacts anti-bias and promotes equity. At a young age, Rebekah learned from the examples of her parents the importance of listening to the experiences of others and how we can be an authentic resource of action, restoration, and empowerment. In addition to education, she has worked on DEI with ethics, the initial co-chair for Novant Health’s Coexist BRG, the long-term goals committee, and webinars with DEI at Novant Health. She serves as a committee chair on national certification committees and the President of NCCA. As a Caucasian female, Rebekah has spent the majority of her life in service with a DEI lens of “what else can I learn, how can I grow, how can I contribute, and how do I challenge and invite others to grow.”
