MIAMI – September 7, 2018 – Telemundo celebrates September with unprecedented programming events including primetime premieres and finales, and special programming across the network’s Entertainment, News and Sports properties. Under the umbrella “Septiembre Imparable por Telemundo” (Unstoppable September), the network will continue to push the boundaries with original scripted series, reality shows and competitions, further establishing itself as the leading voice for the U.S. Hispanic community and embodying the spirit of today’s Latino: tenacious, groundbreaking, and unstoppable.

“Septiembre Imparable por Telemundo” kicks off on September 10 at 9pm/8c with the finale of the series that made this summer hotter than ever “Sin Senos Si Hay Paraiso.” This season has brought the unthinkable to light, and the climax of the series is sure to leave viewers stunned. Premiering the following night, September 11 at 9pm/8c is Telemundo’s newest series “Falsa Identidad,” starring Luis Ernesto Franco and Camila Sodi as two strangers who come together to escape their enemies and survive. The excitement continues with the highly-anticipated sixth season finale of the Emmy Award-winning Super Series™ “El Señor de los Cielos” on September 24 at 10pm/9c, followed by the premiere of the 13-episode television event with the premiere of “El Recluso,” a suspenseful series set at a prison near the U.S.-Mexico border on Tuesday, September 25.

Sunday nights will be full of pure adrenalin with the extension to three hours of “Exatlon,” the reality competition that has captivated viewers. Starting Sunday, September 16, viewers of all ages will be able to enjoy the program from 7-10p/6-9c, in addition to its 7-9pm/6-8c time slot Monday through Friday.

On September 12, Noticias Telemundo will launch “Planeta Tierra,” a multi-platform series of stories focused on climate change and environmental issues with an emphasis on Latin American countries and the U.S. Hispanic community. “Planeta Tierra” will be led by Emmy Award-winning journalist and climate change expert, Vanessa Hauc. Kicking off Hispanic Heritage Month, Telemundo will air the traditional “Grito de Dolores” from Mexico City’s famous Zócalo on Saturday, September 15, with a special program celebrating the country’s Independence Day hosted by the network’s news anchors Paulina Sodi and Julio Vaqueiro.

To round out “Septiembre Imparable por Telemundo,” Telemundo Deportes will premiere a new episode of “Que Momento” (What a Moment), the first-ever, original documentary-style sports production launched by the network last December. Premiering on September 29 at 2:30pm/1:30c, this new episode will take a look at the story of how France became champion of the 2018 FIFA World Cup™.  It’s the story of a team of immigrants and sons of immigrants overcoming obstacles as they grew up to become the symbol of a generation and includes an analytic view of the three Hispanic rivals that they faced: Peru, Argentina, and Uruguay.  “Que Momento” was born from Andres Cantor’s signature phrase “Que Momento,” which he uses to describe the most exciting moment in a soccer match. The quarterly special takes an in-depth journalistic look at some of the greatest and most memorable moments in sports history.
