Spitz joined Accenture in 1993, and handles its retail merchandising and supply-chain offerings as well as the North American retail fashion client portfolio. Currently the head of people initiatives for Accenture’s North America products practice, Spitz oversees all facets of the People Program, a set of priorities crucial to facilitating a supportive and inclusive work environment including client site initiatives aimed at sharing best practices and championing people initiatives, leadership, advancement/recognition, workforce inclusion and work/life balance. In 2011, she launched the New York Retail & Fashion Hub, designed to bring people from different backgrounds together for networking and career development. Additionally, she has sponsored and led a two-day leadership training event for high-performing women managers in the products operating group. She continues to spearhead new diversity/inclusion initiatives, such as a new sales apprentice program and updated new hire integration model to help people from diverse backgrounds integrate smoothly at Accenture.
