Candi Almon, RN, MSN, is a passionate nursing leader recognized for inspiring and supporting her teams. In 2019, she joined Wellstar Health System, where she is the recovery room nurse manager at Cobb Hospital. She leads and manages the clinical, financial, and developmental goals of her unit. Before joining Wellstar, Almon served in various nursing roles in her local community, including inpatient nurse, school nurse, pre/post- surgical nurse, and operating room team leader. She has earned a Master of Science in health systems leadership, Bachelor of Science in nursing, and Bachelor of Science in biology – all from the University of West Georgia. She is a member of the American Nurses Association and the Association of Perioperative Registered Nurses. She is an active volunteer in the youth ministry of Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church, serving as a youth and girls ministry leader.
