Precious Benson is the Assistant Vice President and Black Journey Mapping Team Lead at M&T Bank. In her role as Black Journey Mapping Team Lead, Benson is responsible for the achieving the team’s overall outcomes; helping to manage the workstream backlog; designing outcome-based team meeting agendas to continue progress towards the completion of tasks and objectives; and identifying and helping to remove blockers at the core team level. Benson has more than 10 years of sales and management experience. She is also the Co-Founder of Benson Development Group, a management firm that offers Consulting and Financial Services; and is the Founder of CHEC (Capturing Hope Empowerment Center), where the mission is to provide at-risk youth with an educational curriculum and field trips throughout the summer to learn about different ethnic cultures. Benson earned Bachelor’s in criminal justice and both of her Master’s in science management with foci in the fields of Human Resources Management Service and Organizational Leadership, respectively, from Wilmington University.
