Sharon Ortega has nearly two decades’ experience as a pediatric nurse and has worked as both a bedside nurse and a charge nurse on two very active pediatric intensive care units (one suburban, the other inner-city). She ran a busy pediatric pulmonary program, participated in a bustling pediatric critical care transport program, and gained significant experience in a primary care setting. Ortega completed a Master’s degree in Nursing from Grand Canyon University. Her undergraduate degree is from Rush University.
