Victoria Russell is the Chief Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Officer for Beam Suntory. Her responsibilities include leading diversity and inclusion across talent acquisition, career development and employee retention, marketing, community relations and building organizational capability to better recognize bias and further drive an inclusive mindset. In previous roles, Russell had a 14-year career at Papa John’s International where she became the first to lead Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion and is credited for steering the company’s actions to build an inclusive organization of 120,000 members. She has also held compensation and marketing roles at other companies such as Lexmark, Humana, and Brown-Forman. Russell serves on many nonprofit boards including GLI, Leadership Louisville, Fund for the Arts, Women Influencing Louisville, and the Chestnut Street YMCA. She has also garnered many accolades such as being named “Woman Making A Difference” by Louisville Business First and selected as one Louisville’s Forty Under 40 in 2019. Russell earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in marketing and management and her MBA in marketing from the University of Kentucky.
