Waymond Harris is the SeniorVice President and Treasurer for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan (BCBSM).In this role,Waymondis responsible for managing the company and subsidiaries’ $15 billion investment portfolios, cash management, risk management, and debt management strategies. An investment professional with 20 years of experience, Waymond has worked as an analyst at a multi-strategy hedge fund and at two bulge- bracket investment banks. Waymond is a CFA Charter Holder and has an engineering background. He is a graduate of the United States Military Academy with a B.S. in Engineering Management and receivedhis MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Sloan School of Management. Harris serves the community as aboard member on the Heat and Warmth fund and as treasurer. Perhaps the most demanding roles in his life are at home as a husband and father.
