Ali Assareh is an Iranian-American lawyer, speaker, author and mentor. Ali frequently speaks, writes, and mentors about law, life, loss, and love, in English and Farsi. Ali’s writings have been published in Diplomatic Courier and The Journal of Law & Commerce, among others, and he has appeared on BBC and other programs.

In his volunteer capacity, Ali serves as Commissioner of National Engagement for Iranian American Bar Association, overseeing its community, engagement and outreach efforts. In summer of 2020, Ali designed and led a nationwide job-match and career development program for law students impacted by the pandemic. Ali has volunteered at numerous non-profit organizations, such as National Action Council for Minorities in Engineering, and Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, and is a four-time recipient of The State Bar of California’s Wiley Manuel Certificate, awarded to lawyers who dedicate at least 50 hours per year to serving low-income clients.
