Louis Desforges is the Assistant Vice President of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion for L’Oreal USA. In this role, he leads DEI across the Luxury Division, which includes 1,600+ employees, eight brands, 11 functions, and a national footprint across retail stores and sales force. His other responsibilities include collaborating with the Division President, Division Head of HR, and the Leadership Committee in the strategic planning, design, implementation and monitoring of key DEI metrics. Desforges also serves as a thought leader and partner to the corporate council, HR leadership teams, Division President, and business leaders to ensure DE&I principles and processes are embedded into L’Oreal’s policies, processes, and systems. Desforges is also a published Children’s Literature author, focusing on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). In past career roles, Desforges gained experience in HR/Recruitment for TheraCare and was the Division Director for Robert Half where he worked to increase their client base by marketing services for temporary, project, or full-time staffing opportunities. Desforges earned both his Bachelor’s and Master’s in finance and human resources management, respectively, from Pace University.
