Astellas uses various best practices in recruiting talent including diverse interview panels and external strategic partnerships to reach diverse communities of candidates. Once people join their team they are welcomed into a culture of inclusion created through programs and activities like the annual Pride Month celebrations, Ally Week program, expanded Military Leave policies, Disability Awareness month activities, Women’s Month Summit activities and multicultural toolkits. Astellas also utilizes mentorship and sponsorship programs to encourage the growth and development of top talent. Partnerships are also critical to Astellas’s diversity and inclusion goals.
