Booz Allen Hamilton is committed to championing diversity, equity, and inclusion in order to lead by example, empower employee potential, inspire belonging, and use its voice and capabilities to increase equity in the communities in which its employees live and work. To track progress and create accountability Booz Allen publishes a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Executive Report and is executing a comprehensive firmwide approach to DEI that broadens the firm’s commitment both internally and externally. Through a robust action plan, the firm is committed to reducing bias and improving equity in its policies, initiatives, and processes; increasing transparency, leadership accountability, sponsorship, and development of underrepresented talent; enhancing employee engagement for all; and building a journey for continuously growing DEI skills, learning, and understanding. The company also encourages employees to join any of its five Business Resource Groups (BRG), which are designed to acknowledge intersectionality and empower employees and their allies by advocating for their professional development, growth, and visibility. BRG leaders also serve on Booz Allen’s DEI Executive Council, which works with the company’s chief DEI officer to govern the DEI mission and help drive accountability at all levels. Additionally, Booz Allen has implemented an employee-led coalition for change, Unstoppable Together, to empower people to change the world through storytelling and technology and create a more inclusive, just, and equitable future.
