DIVERSITY MBA ANNOUNCES BEST PLACES TO WORK

CHICAGO, IL – Diversity MBA Media, a national organization integrating diversity and inclusion with talent management, today publishes its 15th annual list of 50 Out Front companies: Best Places to Work for Women & Diverse Managers Ranking has named Novant Health as the new No. 1 company for 2021.

UPMC is No. 2 and Blue Cross Blue Shield, Massachusetts won the third spot. (See entire list below.)

The companies are ranked using Diversity MBA’s benchmarking metrics, which measure how companies and organizations are investing in intentional strategies to advance women and managers of people of color and create a sustainable culture of belonging and inclusion. Overall, the survey shows continued progress for diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts, said Pam McElvane, CEO, and publisher of Diversity MBA Media.

Leadership Accountability has been redefined based on the current changes’ companies are making to engage their workforce in order, to create trusted environments for all employees.  Authentic conversation platforms are at an all time with senior leaders engaged with exposed vulnerability to solidify their empathy and commitment to change.  We were not surprised to see the level of depth and commitment displayed by our top participating companies in how to achieve long-term success, says Pam McElvane, CEO, and publisher of Diversity MBA Media.

Diversity MBA’s methodology consists of a multitiered process that involves primary and secondary research. Companies are selected based on scores on eight categories: strategy, representation, board diversity, recruitment, workplace inclusion & retention, succession planning and accountability. The annual list also recognizes “Best in Class Companies” in each category, as well as 24 other specialty categories.  On September 22nd and 23rd, 2021 Diversity MBA recognizes the 50 Out Companies for Best Place to Work for Women & Diverse Managers at the 15th Annual National conference.  For more information, visit www.diversitymbamagazine.com.
